For Vice President of Fleet Sales Ted Cain, the first 90 days at Advertising Vehicles have been “electric.”
From meeting the team to guiding sales to the highest volume quarter of the year – Cain’s been busy since the start. And he looks to continue that momentum.
CAIN’S VISION FOR THE FUTURE of Advertising Vehicles
Cain joined Advertising Vehicles August 7, 2023, bringing 29 years of automotive industry experience. In his previous roles, Cain oversaw the impressive expansion of his sales teams’ influence across the nation, and now he sets his sights on doing the same – and more – for Advertising Vehicles.
With his previous knowledge from working with the company on fleet graphics needs, Cain was excited to join the growing team, and knew he could make an impact.
And he’s already hit the ground running – or sprinting. Cain has already implemented standards for technology efficiency, encouraging the use of Advertising Vehicles’ custom technology – GUS and the Fleet Care Center. In his short time with Advertising Vehicles so far, Cain has more than doubled the number of clients looking to upgrade their fleet graphics.
Cain’s vision for Advertising Vehicles is to build off the strong foundation that already exists and expand the sales team across the nation. With an installer network that spans the nation, state of the art printing capabilities, and top-notch custom technology for project management – all the necessary pieces are already in place. Cain looks to increase influence in markets where Advertising Vehicles is already a major player and penetrate new markets that Advertising Vehicles has not yet broken into.
Working With “The Greatest Invention of All Time”
Ted Cain has always loved automobiles. “They allow for commerce to happen, and people to experience freedom,” says Cain. So, it’s no surprise that his career has been focused on the automotive industry. From 13 years in the retail automotive industry selling and managing dealerships, to 5 years leading a sales team for a national top 10 fleet management group – Cain knows the importance of a vehicle.
And the importance of that vehicle looking good, serving as a physical representation of a brand that is seen by thousands each day.
“We live in a time when selling your services takes place 24/7/365. The number of impressions your branded vehicles generate is enhanced by your graphics. The service industry has never been busier, and every client wants to differentiate themselves. It is a pleasure to help clients take an idea and turn it into a mobile billboard,” he says.
And Cain wants Advertising Vehicles to be the first name that comes to mind when fleet managers, marketers, and business owners think about branding their vehicle.
The Next Steps for Advertising Vehicles
Under Cain’s leadership, and with the support of CEO Ken Black and Partner Michael Ries, Advertising Vehicles is set to grow exponentially over the next few years. Cain looks to divide the nation into regional divisions and add experienced sales professionals to teams across the United States.
